i thought jjba was going to be really long & complicated like homestuck so thats why i avoided starting it for a long time bc i couldnt deal with another conceptually elusive convoluted clusterfuck plotline again but i was very relieved upon actually trying it bc essentially the whole thing can be summed up with simply “big gay vampire with a god complex ruins everything” & thats something that i can understand without question
